Standard reports give you fixed, predefined outputs such as recruitment, review status, missing data, queries, and pending forms. Custom reports cover reporting needs beyond those, built from your study's CRF and operational data. If your reporting need is not met by a standard report, it is a candidate for a custom report.

Any team whose reporting needs are not covered by the standard reports, and who would rather not take on the R programming in-house. That covers a wide range, from small adjustments to standard outputs to reports built from scratch.

A custom report can only use data that exists within the scope of the current study and the user's role. It draws on CRF and operational data, such as queries and medical coding, along with study, site, and user information. Visibility is role-controlled, so you can create dedicated reports for different roles like Monitor, Project Manager, or Sponsor.

Custom report data refreshes on the daily data sync, the same as any other report in Viedoc Reports.
