On May 9-11, over 100 of our employees from around the world flew in to our headquarters in Sweden—from the US, Vietnam, Japan, China, and more. In total, we had 32 nationalities represented. We spent 3 days at Högbo Bruk doing fun activities, such as rope courses, glass blowing, mountain biking, and more. We also did various team building exercises that encouraged creative thinking, collaboration, and good communication.
During some very insightful lectures we delved into captivating discussions about our company values, the power of perception, and team culture. We even had the pleasure of having Crisp join us and hold a guest lecture on product development, featuring case studies from Spotify, among other companies.
On the final evening of the company gathering, we hosted a celebratory dinner party to commemorate 20 years of Viedoc. We ate good food, danced, and laughed together, but most importantly—nurtured good relationships.
We believe there is strength in diversity. Being able to meet and learn from each other, sharing ideas and different perspectives is how we can grow–we believe that if our employees are in good hands, our customers are in good hands too.
Our lectures emphasized the importance of dreaming big and daring to fail, highlighting that great innovations emerge from an environment where individuals feel safe, trusted and empowered to express themselves.
We use our skills and knowledge to do good, by our colleagues, users, and society as a whole. Our team building exercises helped bring our employees together, to inspire and empower each other, and encourage greater discoveries.
Our teams consist of people from all different backgrounds, and coming together, like we did in Högbo, is what enriches us and helps us evolve. Henrik Blombergsson, our COO and co-founder, had this to say:

For a group with such diverse nationalities and cultural differences, it's incredibly important to meet physically to foster the conditions for working as a team with common goals. All the conversations among individuals outside the planned agenda were just as valuable as everything that was planned.”
Not only did this company gathering strengthen internal bonds, it also proved vital from a customer perspective. By promoting collaboration and empowering our teams, we pave the way for continued innovation, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and service to our customers for years to come.
