Job description

We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our product development team. You must be both technically proficient and have a keen eye for design and UI/UX. You are an exceptional problem solver with great communication skills and can optimize our application in terms of technology and in delivering the best user experience.

Your responsibilities will include translating design wireframes into the code that will produce visual elements of the application. Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in using current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.

In general, you will work closely with the design team, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices. You will, therefore:

  • translate wireframes from designers into fully realized user interfaces by creating the buttons, images, links, and pages that all need to function efficiently, accurately, and quickly for the user to carry out a particular task.
  • write reusable code and libraries (with matching documentation) to a standard which makes it quick and easy to maintain the code in the future
  • design new features, or maintain old features with focus on the visual layout, user interface/interaction, and user experience
  • stay up to date with emerging technologies
  • understand and pursue the product vision and roadmap, as determined by the Product Owner
  • engage in rapid and iterative development practices.
  • interact with team members to identify challenges and solutions, share and receive knowledge and skills, and continually improve team processes

You will report directly to Manager Product Development.
 

Who you are?

You probably have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, or front-end engineer. You have:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and Javascript frameworks
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with image authoring tools

Since the office language is English, you must be accustomed to speak and write in English. It is an advantage if you also know Swedish.

Job description

We are looking for a junior Quality Assurance Officer to join the Quality Assurance department in Uppsala, Sweden. You will support our customers with the information they need to ensure that Viedoc is compliant with regulatory requirements within the clinical research sector. Typical duties include:

  • Answering questionnaires from customers about our quality initiatives and procedures
  • Documentation of correspondence and other relevant information
  • Participating in audits by customers and their representatives, and answering their questions
  • Follow-up of CAPA issues internally
  • Providing input to RFPs (Requests For Proposal) received by our inbound sales group
  • Participate in streamlining and developing the daily work within QA

You will report directly to the Manager of Quality Assurance.

  • Take an active part in our business development
  • Support us in forming and reviewing vendor contracts and partner contracts
